so apparently, The Division is confident in its ability to recruit our guardians to their cause....

Why does everyone hate 3rd person so much? Anyone play Gears of War? Spec-Ops: The Line? Assassin's Creed? Does everyone except me play Battlefront in 1st person? Expand your gaming guys. Games don't have to be FPS to be good. I'm actually kind if interested in The Division. Depends on how much content it has.
-
Division looks like it's going to be another Watch Dogs. That's right, I said it.
-
I don't want to walk around nyc in a 3rd person view.
-
The Division will be the first ACTUAL direct competition with Destiny. The "open world" loot based shooter. It will take a lot of players away which is a great thing. Bungie will be forced to step up or ship out.
-
meh been excited about the division since 2013 when it was announced and sense i always love tom clancy games and books
-
Edited by Toketotem: 1/6/2016 10:18:40 AMMeh, I have no interest in open world PvP or realistic military anything. So pretty much 0 interest in the Division. Hopefully it will be awesome for people who like that kind of thing so they will leave Destiny. Maybe then we can get a little more RPG, and a little less competitive BS. "We have no aliens, no zombies or strange monsters running about. The Division is based on a real threat, a clear and present danger to our society." Quote from the article, and exactly why I have no interest in it.

"Destiny is still as popular as ever despite its age" When did a year mean a game was too old to play? God, annual releases have corrupted the gaming industry...
-
Ha.. Ubisoft Fool me once AC 2 Fool me twice watchdogs We shall see
-
I'll never play destiny again when that comes out. At least until destiny 2.
-
On the one hand, the division looks like it could be amazing On the other hand...it's Ubisoft. Do we really trust them to deliver a worthwhile experience any more?
-
Edited by tWZtD x23: 1/7/2016 5:05:00 PMIt's already present ordered // pain in full..I can't wait, 3rd person is not bad, if you were able to play the gears of War saga u will be fine
-
One of very few games im eagerly waiting to release. Will it be the biggest threat for destiny? Yes, will it kill destiny? Probably not. I think the division will turn off the most casual players. Judging by the gameplay, i think it will seem too tactical for most casual players.
-
I think the division will be alot of fun!
-
It's not a first person is it? Right there in turned off
-
I don't understand what was so hype about ttk. There was literally almost no new content. All those new exotics they made are not available. All they did was make year 1 gear "year 2" and made everyone's panties wet smh. People are stupid
-
Edited by KUNGFU-AZZAZZIN: 1/7/2016 3:46:02 AMStill a little reluctant. It IS a Ubisoft game, and lately, I've been hating their games.
-
The pvp is a joke. Third person? Gross. -blam!- the division
-
I cannot wait for the Division. It is what i have been waiting for such a long time. A truly teamworked post apocalyptic game
-
If only it had optional first person. What a huge flaw.
-
The title makes me imagine a black guy who thinks he's a gamer but destiny is his first game and he got it last week and he already beat it.
-
Puke Smith already has the Division on pre-order....
-
Whats this "content" thing you speak of?
-
Edited by Swiftlock: 1/7/2016 3:49:08 AMThe setting and premise can only do so much. The true deciding factor will be whether or not the Division can keep its players' attention with solid shooter mechanics, engaging gameplay, and a PROPER loot system that makes people feel satisfied at the end of the day instead of let down.
-
Can't wait for the game, just hope they get some solid servers :)
-
As mentioned Destiny is killing itself, not too difficult for any decent game to grab players at this point. It's unfortunate Bungie you had everything going for you but you killed it!
-
Definitely. Bungie is killing their own game. I lost trust in Ubisoft after the last ghost recon and I defo don't trust their ability to release a working game on day one. It will be hard to beat the gunplay in destiny, but it won't be hard to beat the utter monotony.
