I think that was bungie's way of compensating for GG not using super energy when you shoot. On both bladedancer and sunbreker every time you use a super attack, you use up some of your super timer. So I guess bungie decided that if you want an extra GG shot you have to sacrifice some super timer as well.

GG uses super energy, fire off two shots quickly and you'll be at half a bar.
-
It makes it near impossible to use every shot, let alone hit with each one.
-
Hey I never said that it was smart. We all know that bungie is incapable of nerfing things properly.
-
Unless I'm mistaken. Gg does use special when shot same as hammer time. I believe it's only jedi sparks that doesn't.
-
Stormtrance goes down a little faster when you fire.
-
It doesn't.
-
But it's already the shortest roaming super in the game.
-
And the quickest fire rate super there is. It makes sense.
-
Well, technically that's Stormcaller because it's continuously firing. And a Sunsinger can use a gun that fires faster while they're in their super (not saying they should, just that they can). But I get what you're saying, and I do fine with the short duration as it normally is, but a reduction to an already very short super seems unnecessary and overkill. Doesn't really bother me because I'm too on love with Tripmines to ditch the Spine, but those complaining have a valid argument IMO.

Spines is cheese and better. But Stormcaller takes the longest to kill with so no. Not the fastest fire rate.

Edited by Szeth6678: 1/6/2016 10:44:31 PMBut Stormtrance isn't an instant kill, and you can be hit by it and not die. Also, Tlaloc only fires faster when your Super is charged, not when you use it.
-
Ha, I don't disagree. I'm just pointing out the technicalities ;) Something that "fires" continuously technically fires faster than anything else. And a Sunsinger can, believe it or not, use a gun besides Tlaloc. The fastest firing auto fires far more bullets than 3 or 4 in the time it takes a Gunslinger to fire every shot. So a Sunsinger can fire faster than a GG depending on which weapon it uses. (The fact that it's not the best idea for the Sunsinger to only fire their primary while in radiance is irrelevant).
-
I thought that when you said "can use a gun that fires faster while in their super" you were referring to the Tlaloc, is all.
-
No, but I see where you're coming from. I meant it fires faster than GG and it can be fired while they're in their super. P.S. Tlaloc is incredible. I've started just holding onto my super just to use its epic ability. Great with a Sunsinger because their neutral game is so strong.
