I have a few favorite areas myself.
10. Down by the ocean at Forgotten Shores
9. Top of the Dust Palace
8. On top of the accelerator in Archer's line, looking up at the sky
7. The area you start the game in, among all the crashed cars
6. The skyline up at Terminus
5. The area where the walker spawns in Anchor of Light
4. Looking out of the Dreadnaught
3. View out to the Reef on the Drifter
2. View of the sun on Burning Shrine
1. Exploring the Vault of Glass
Just to name a few.
