I purchased Destiny The Taken King Legendary Edition from Amazon on Sunday 1/3/16 and it arrived this afternoon. When I went to redeem the Taken King code (Which included both previous expansions and the Spark of Light), it gave me the message that the code had already been redeemed. This is a brand new game that was still it it's wrapper. I tried the code multiple times and the same message that it had already been redeemed comes up. I looked on the reviews on Amazon and other users have had the same problem and gave them one star. The seller was "Activision" which is the first choice when you search for Destiny on Amazon. The code for the Vanguard Early Access Weapons pack works, but the Taken King (The most important one) does not. This is such an inconvenience for me and pisses me off because Destiny is already getting bad publicity from even veteran players who are becoming more and more frustrated with this game and Bungie (Don't believe me? Just check any Destiny review online). Not a good first impression if I can't even trust a new game's code not to work. I am a veteran player of Destiny from Xbox One and decided to play it on PS4, but this is not a good way to start off my new account.
I tried looking on this Bungie's website for contact information to at least call or email them and Bungie does not provide any type of contact information. Is this some kind of ploy to evade liability or to try and prevent players from getting direct help? Now I've wasted $40 of my money on something that I can't even play. I would like some kind of help to solve this issue, please.

Edited by ImTheStigHonest: 1/7/2016 3:25:31 AMYou need to contact Amazon for a refund/return This seems to be happening quit a lot. The retailer is the one who will have to address this issue My advice would be to buy the digital edition directly from the console store as you won't have the code issue It's not Bungie that produces the codes it's Sony All the reports of this issue I have seen have been on PlayStation copies

Edited by Metni: 1/7/2016 3:24:52 AMFirst of all, I'm sorry to hear about all the trouble. When it comes to problems with codes, you're going to have to go through the retailer that you purchased that bundle from. Bungie is not actually providing you with a license or a code when you purchase and redeem a bundle, and all redemptions go through Microsoft/Sony. You'll have to talk to Amazon's customer support about those fault codes. https://www.amazon.ca/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=915404
