Control
I've decided to start reporting anyone who has less than 3 captures in a match

Sometimes the most important role is being the person(s) who stands on the outskirts defending the person capturing. I always attempt to capture, yet there certainly are times when I don't capture because I am defending. With this said, if people are blatantly camping while not working toward the objective, that is a true issue.

I can understand this if someone or alot( I had a match like that once ) aren't capturing zones, isn't killing alot of people, dieing alot, and is more or less causing the loss.

Well report me then, I might get about 2 a game, if that, I usually let the randoms take the first OBJ while I make a fast grab on middle, doing my best to defend that OBJ. Reporting people for not having enough captures would be a waste of time, nothing would come of it, but I do understand your frustration with the lack of teamwork in the game.

11 RepliesI just don't understand why people even choose to play control but then totally ignore capturing zones!? There's a game type for that, it's called clash. It's seriously not that complicated. Don't want to worry about zones, fine, clash is your answer. I'm at the point now where if I run in to capture b twice and no one attempts to help I just leave.

5 RepliesLol if you have more than 2 you're doing something wrong. Capture A & B and hold them down. Teammates that go for the triple captures mess up the spawns and ruin the control. Take 2 zones and hold them down.

No... I say 0 captures. And you know sometimes people are really trying to cap zones and they just can't either cos they're scrubs or the other team is a bunch of sweaties

A better suggestion would be to get more gear in the Crucible if you capture zones. Or have special gear for those of us who are "objectively correct" in a game. Yeah.. tired of people rushing off trying to take Zone B when its just a wreck killing zone. The idea is to take zones & not die.

4 RepliesThe number of kills you get in Control should be a function of the number of zones you capture. If you don't capture any zones (or only the one easy zone at the start) you don't get credit for ANY kills.

3 RepliesReport them all you want. People don't capture points for one of two reasons. 1. They're a noob who doesn't know any better. 2. They're a decent player---who does know better-----but is too concerned about his personal stats. Capping and defending control points leave you vulnerable, and get you killed. So you get a lot guys who avoid them like a bad rash, then lie to themselves about how they're doing it all for the sake of the team.....

2 RepliesThe worst is when randoms have no idea how control works. You maintain a-b or c-b. You never take the third flag unless you want to try and break the B flag, flip spawns and recapture B at that point. I usually give up grabbing flags if I'm the only one trying. Control is starting to turn into clash.
