I have issues with patrol being lackluster. There is rarely ever a time where you're on patrol and you find something you haven't already seen. There are so many caves that lead to dead ends for no reason. It would be nice if there were more to explore and more to find for people who are into that. I have major issues with the level/damage scaling; Why should I grind to max level if level 5 enemies at the cosmodrome can bring my shields down? The RNG is terrible, the people who perform worse than the rest of the team tend to get the better rewards (i.e. legendary drops). I remember Bungie saying they re-worked the algorithm for drops so that raids tend to drop the stuff you need more often - that does not seem to be the case. I didn't get my very first raid helmet until AFTER hard mode dropped. The content gets recycled and there's hardly any alternate ways to accomplish any mission/quest/raid etc. There are some alternate paths such as the paradox and lost to light alternate endings, but they are usually locked behind a time gate. The story is locked behind a grimoire which requires a 3rd application to access. Grimore should be accessible in game, at the very least at a Tower kiosk. The fact that fireteams are restricted to 3 really bugs me; either 2 or 4 people has always been the traditional co-op player amount. Having to return to orbit to join a fireteam really bugs me. Having weekly locks on endgame gear really bugs me - if I want to grind out 4 raids on one character to try and complete my set I should be able to, it's my time that I'm sacrificing. I mean the list goes on..
