Have you seen...

Tell me again how something isn't broken afterwards, dear Mtashed (No irony. You helped a lot of noobs with your videos).
If it's not bullet magnetism per se, then it has to be a very funky hitbox.
Aim assist isn't the be all and all mechanic (and the godlike player in the Video made a point of that using the Spear), however it definitely helps immensely with drag scoping, and I suspect by now that it also helps quite a bit to get a headshot in that 0.8 sec time frame of continuously getting shot at (as a sniper), before Mida could kill you in 0.9 sec.
It should also be of note that snipers have never been better than now.
Someone like you (I wonder if you hang out in the Crucible Playbook? I don't see you around there as much) should definitely know how TTK on meta primaries evolved throughout Destiny.
We went from 0.3-0.5 sec of TTK in TDB, to 0.9-1.1 sec in the Taken King.
We both know what happens, when you give snipers twice the time to kill someone.
We could also analyse how the previous Pulse Meta or the exotic HC meta prohibited successful sniping more often than not.
Good luck getting off that clean Headshot while TLW 111 ADS damages you. Or Thorn 2 shots you, before you finished scoping in.
Sniping has never been easier than now. AA and what it does, is just one part of the equation.
Disclaimer:
I refuse to play with a fireteam and to play anything else than 6vs6 objective game modes.
So whatever happens in Trials, is something I don't really care about.
