...a timeless loop, there ever will be...
...the indistinct shouts were made clear by the hand motions for me to follow. I have been here before, it feels so surreal. My fire team passed through the gate one at a time, so I followed. The mission, stop the Vex. I ran down to the conflux, but I was too late, I lost them. Nevertheless I examined what I was here for, or I should say my Ghost did. The clicks and whirrs of its processes was rather rudely interrupted by the howls of a charging Minotaur. Not a problem, I introduced my new found company to an Unfriendly Giant I know. They became fast friends. Sounds of worry vibrated from the phantom little light. Something about, "...lost to time, working on a way to find those who are..." But the Vex are so very rude. As misplaced energy and propelled projectiles crossed each other's paths, exited sounds of accomplishments barely rang over the gunfire exchange. The surrounding light was now too bright to see anything but the steadily marching machines right past arms reach. Just when my whole world was washed away, I felt a tug on my arm. I turned to see my fire team running toward a Vex gate...

2 RepliesI imagine this is some sort of hellish prison that someone stuck in a time paradox would experience. No recollection of past happenings. You'd never be able to realize you're stuck in a loop… I actually enjoyed this read. Very relaxing after looking at 15 Nerf _______ posts.
