The backstory was added in [i]way[/i] later, after I responded to a particularly irate reply with: "You believed this? I haven't even fleshed out the character yet."
Everyone who viewed this thread after that took it out of context.

It's up to you, feels more passive aggressive, adding more substance that you're not an over-the-top asshole...but still allows the over-the-top righteous white knights to come out of the woodwork
