I understand the frustration.
But some people play PvP to win. So that's why you'll see people with the meta in regular crucible.
"Well I use different guns because it's fun."
"It's not fun using the same guns."

Something that a lot of people don't understand (coming from someone who uses the meta), we find our fun through winning. Sorry if that suddenly offends your opinion. But it's fact that some people get their fun through winning and going on long killing sprees. People don't sweat because it's boring, it's their method of fun.

You should be playing different guns on different maps, and you should also match your weapons to counter your opponent...and to match with your own subclass. I love the Vanity hand cannon I have. It's a super satisfying gun... But I'm not going to use it versus a team using TLW/Thorn. I wouldn't use it on a map like Widow's Court vs a team of MIDAs either. Some guns also just go better with certain subclasses. Hand cannons, for example, work best on hunters, since you can jump shoot.
