Excursion with Ikora has lost us valuable time. We must learn where the King's main base is. Only then can we end this insanity. Go to the King's hideout in Gorod Progressea. Find out whatever you can."- Zavala You spawn in outside of the Cosmodrome wall. "Guardian, I cannot let you do this alone. It is too risky. I have requested some backup for you." A ship flies over. It is different from any other ship in game, jet black and very streamline. A guardian appears in front of you. She is a warlock and she is wearing a blue/ grey armor set unseen in game. It looks very similar to Spartan armor in Halo, which is unusual for a a Warlock. "Skorri, nice to meet you."- Skorri She extends her hand but your Ghost pops out "Skorri?! As in the Iron Lord?!"- Ghost She puts down her hand now, obviously annoyed. "I was."- Skorri Your Ghost backs up a little "What do you mean was?"- Ghost "So I have heard much about you. Got hell of a record."- Skorri Your Ghost realizes he struck a cord by her avoiding his question and he disappears. "Most Guardians could't wish to do the things you've done. Praedyth was a pal of mine. You slew that beast that took him. I am eternally grateful for that... Zavala where's that Raven I asked for?"- Skorri "Skorri, move slightly to the left."- Zavala She does and a vehicle spawns in next to her where she was standing. "Jackass."- Skorri "There is a reading of Taken energy on your way. Do us all a favor and eliminate it."- Zavala "Would you also like us to pick up some Spinfoil while we are at it?"- Skorri "Oh just do it."- Zavala The Raven next to Skorri is also jet black and streamline like her ship. It is shaped like a non- racing Sparrow but longer and wider. The cockpit is in the front. On the back is a raised area with a machine gun attached. Skorri jumps into the cockpit. "You coming?"- Skorri You get in the back. The gun rotates 360 degrees. Or rather a little platform you are standing on with the machine gun attached spins. Much like a Warthog in Halo, she drives while you gun. She drives along the highway where you chased Tuyor. About half way to Gorod you encounter a group of blights. You fight a bunch of Taken (this is basically an excuse to screw around with the gun). Once you are done killing the Taken: "Hey Zavala."- Skorri "Yes Skorri?"- Zavala "I got that spinfoil you wanted."- Skorri She says this very proudly, picking up some laying around. "Great. Make me a hat... Now go and see what you can find."- Zavala You and Skorri get back into the Raven and head towards Gorod Progressea. You reach it and there are no Kings anywhere. "Keep your eyes open. It is most likely a trap."- Zavala "Whats the wordt they can do anyways? Kill us? Ha!"- Skorri You go into the city. "Last time we were here I picked up some King comms originating from that direction. I'll mark it for you."- Ghost You got through the city in erie silence. As you near the end you encounter a large sigh with "Когда жадность потребляет надежду." written on it. Skorri reads it, "When greed consumes hope."- Skorri Past this point are no more modern buildings. They are well preserved buildings from the USSR. It is very glooms (and even when you enter it a slight grey filter is added on everything, like the green and orange one in the Hive room of the PoE. There are red stars and hammers and sickles everywhere. "I have only heard stories of this place. A pre- golden age country built on the hopes of a utopia, meant to destroy greed and inequality. It was shattered and became the very thing it hoped to destroy. A brainwashed society powered on inequality, driven by greed."- Skorri There is a long, solemn silence. You reach an empty missile silo. "Here is where those transmissions came from. Just down that deep, dark pit."- Ghost "If I die... Revive me"- Skorri She jumps in and disappears. "You coming or what?"- Skorri through your ghost. You jump down into the dark missile silo. You reach the bottom and meat Skorri. It is completely black other than yours and Skorri's lights. "I am picking up a faint signal. Dead ahead."- Ghost "My favorite expression"- Skorri You continue through the abandoned silo. You reach a heavy metal door by the wall and pass through it and up a staircase. You reach a control room. "Here. This is where the signal is coming from. Let me in and see what is going on."- Ghost You scan the controls. "I got it! Olympus"- Ghost Before he can finish a loud mechanical roar is heard. The floodlights now illuminate the silo and the King Prime Servitor in front of a large glass window connecting the control room to the silo. Beneath the Servitor is an army of Kings and Insurgents. "Kill them or we'll never get that data!"- Zavala With a loud mechanical screech the Servitor disappears and Skorri pulls out a pulse rifle and jumps through the window, shattering it. You follow. You and Skorri are surrounded on all sides by Fallen and Insurgents. You mow down the seemingly never ending onslaught of enemies under a bright Red Star. The fight takes a while and Skorri honestly does most of the work. Fighting with fluid motion in a seemingly hypnotized state. The fight finally ends and the mission is complete. "Olympus Mons, Mars. That is where the House of King's base of operations is."- Ghost "Great work! We will divest all resources towards investigating this base."- Zavala Skorri shakes your hand. "It was an honor fighting with you. I look forward to doing it again. Until next time."- Skorri And she is teleported to her ship.
