  • This has nothing to do with common core. Common Core is wrong, what he said is right.

  • Not sure what you're trying to say by that, but I graduated high school in 2006

  • The math itself is fine except there isn't a death for every kill or the term killing spree wouldn't exist.... Oh nvm it clicked in my head he meant if you have a 1.0 that means including suicides that we all have you are above average. I got stuck on the kill for every death and didn't understand where he was going

Killing spree means that you get 5 kills without dying, but 5 people had to die in order for you to get that killing spree. I'm talking about globally, not individually, if that helps clear it up

  • What's the point of a global kd... thats like saying for every homeless person there is a rich man so poverty doesn't exist

  • That's a false equivalency if I've ever seen one. My statement is that for every kill in destiny, there is a death, therefore a global average of 1.0 kd, anyone being above 1.0 is above this average, that's my only point.

  • The kd of all guardians averaged then being above that would be being above average. Making up an irrelevant global 1.0 means nothing. Just because when I kill you you die doesn't make it a pertinent statistic. Average the entire databases kd then you have a relevant statistic.

  • I would love to see the actual average kd of all players figured in that manner, but I would venture to guess it would still be slightly below 1. You can't have a high kd player without those deaths lowering someone else's kd

  • You are absolutely right but there are astronomically good players that would have to be balanced out by a very high amount of negative players. Needless to say I too would like to see the numbers
