Surely the only point of the totems cheese is if there are only 4 players? With a full team of 6, the normal way isn't exactly difficult. Plus if it's a game with blueberries, failing on the totems is a nice early warning to get the hell outta dodge before you waste even more time failing to do the rest of the raid.

  • My raid team failed the first stage three time Saturday night ... We had two new players who had done hard mode seversl times, they must of thought we were proper nerds ... But then we did the whole thing with only one wipe at warpriest and 2 on the oryx challange for 2 of us it was our first hard raid ... I'm glad we didn't get labeled blueberries n ditched at the front door of the raid ... But I have to say any 6 man team who says do the cheese at totems shoukd be a sign to get out

  • Hehe, a couple of wipes isn't too bad. I've had some truly appalling runs at totems where every attempt has been without supers as someone thinks it's a great idea to start the encounter before everyone is ready, where multiple knights are up top because no-one can agree as to who should be shooting them and where one (or more) people think if we wipe enough, their suggestion of cheesing it will seem more appealing. And to think I used to enjoy teaching raids : )
