It's literally just a rearrange of the mechanics, with 4 people in center all the totem guy should have to deal with is a boomer on a timer and some trash mobs from the sides, absolutely nothing should make it from the portal to the totem if there's 4 players in the center, it also speeds up wizard kills, which seem to be a problems with random groups, the only thing I've seen that can throw people off is having both auras so close together, you have to really watch your movement, I'd say in theory it's "safer" not faster.
