So I'm a regular listener/watcher of the Planet Destiny podcasts, they're fun dudes, but the past few weeks in PvP I've heard people there (guests and hosts, more recently nkutch and Teft) complaining about how playing passive and going invis aren't fair.
Sure, they're unconventional but that's what makes this game great - you can fight in more ways than one. Maybe you and your team aren't good with doing direct fights, maybe you're better playing passive and witty: That should NOT be a problem.
It's not cheating to be passive, it's not cheating to use invisibility to your advantage, it's not cheating to use your bubble to your advantage. It's not like many teams can pull off unconventional plays against experienced players anyway!
This isn't a boxing match, this is warfare. Anything goes. So before calling players out on their strategy, ask yourself, are you just mad because their train of thought is different than yours? Confining the community to one playstyle is what's unfair. A win is a win, unless you're literally cheating (ie head glitching.)

I play relatively passive, AKA "aggressive flanking". I see conservative play as any point where you're engaging the enemy while they aren't facing you. That is passive play to me, whether you're pushing the enemy or not. Yes, sometimes passive play also means hunkering down to calculate your next move; the first rule in warfare is to take any kill you can get, any way you can. If you can engage the enemy without taking a bullet, DO IT.
