Yes, I completely agree with you. Win/lose ratio is more important. I win more games than I lose actually. In trials, a death can actually win a match. For example, I know who my star player is on my trials team. I know he can pull insane comebacks, so I don't think about it twice if I have to sacrifice myself to res him because he died to a sniper who has inhuman like reflexes. Eventually he will get around to picking me up. Dying taking out an aggressive pusher can also change the outcome of a game, so as long as your team is nearby to pick you up and control the body. In control, I defend and take over zones, especially when your teammates are focused on only killing, forgetting to place the objective. I get killed a lot when I'm in these situations, but every struggle to control a zone makes a difference on the score board.
