I don't like when people advertise their work on my thread without my permission. I wouldn't mind if they would just ask first. Bungie.net and the Destiny App could use an update that could allow people to block advertisements.
I have a story in the making. Someone posted a link to THEIR story on my table of contents post. If, and when, I find a potential story, I ask if I can post a link to their story on my table of contents. I don't have a problem with people advertising, I just want them to ask me first.
I have the highest rated thread for exotic ideas. I love hearing other people's ideas, talking to them about other ideas, it is a community project. Well, someone posted a link to their exotic ideas on MY client's comment. That person attempted to steal my client.
I think Bungie.net and the Destiny App should get an update that allows people to block a post (advertisement) so, no one can see it. That way if someone is advertising without permission, the post would be hidden from everyone on that thread.
On the other hand, people would abuse this. Maybe only the person that was commented to can block it.
Example: Person 2 advertises on person 1 thread. Only person 1 can block person 2 post.
