What needs to work? The Companion App needs to work!

I downloaded the app about 2 months, late November early December. I downloaded it and it worked great!....Until a update came along and ruined it all....You know how some updates ruin just a feature or two? Well this update basically bricked the app. I haven't been able to use it since. I click on it, the Destiny logo pops up, and then "The Destiny app has crashed. Cancel or Continue?" Iv filled out multiple grief reports on the Play Store, hoping that the feedback would reach Bungie. Apparently it hasn't. For about the past month or so every-time I want to switch over to a different charterer, I have to either go to orbit and go to the tower, then back to the raid, OR take out my laptop and wait for it to boot up and load. Which takes forever. The reason I didnt complain right away is because I had faith in Bungie. I assumed that Google Play would pass the feedback along. They didnt. Also, I didnt switch stuff that often, but as I get further into the game, and have more characters at higher light lvls, its a bit of a hassle go do what I'v been doing. Im also assuming that jack squat has happened at Bungie because of there month long break, so they couldn't have updated the app. (Which im not mad about) Has anyone else ran into this problem? Im running Jellybean on a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3. Not sure if its just a issue with my device or not. I want to hear if this has happened to anyone else, and if so, if its still happening or if you found a fix.
