Well maybe not because they don't know about it but probably because the biggest games out there (on console) consist of fps games. I think it's safe to say MGS fits into a tps so people aren't very focused on it.

Focus is different. You have to be pretty damn young to have not heard of MGS. It's one of those icons of gaming. Like Zelda or Pacman.

I'm half a sleep just bad use of words I guess. I'm only 14 but have played almost all MGS games and absolutely loved them. I miss playing on my PSP :(

Nothing will beat the first MGS game on the PS1. The ooooollld MG games were something else, too.
