[b]Before Anything starts to blow up on both ends of the spectrum, a few things to point out! [/b] - Credit to method used by observation is linked as to how i came across this method. If they are the first or not, I give credit where credit is due and for me it was this video. Everyone should learn the mechanics of the raids before performing cheeses and such. I consider this a cheese definitely - but nonetheless had to try it for myself and couldn't figure out for the life of me how he had his super without enemies. Now! on to the Good stuff :) - This method is far more stressful then getting a party together and killing him and a lot longer. - If the founder of this method has posted an explanation before this post of mine, Then please say so in the comments to show for others. This is the method I guessed he used and went for it. When you start off in the Atheon fight, you will have 35 seconds before he "opens the timestream" and then follows up on teleporting you to Venus or Mars. After this Teleportation he will then stand still and summon his Supplicants to fend off the players keeping the portal open. (since its solo, obviously they'll go for you) With this in mind, the moment he sends you to said destinations you will be instantly stripped of all your super energy and then immediately killed. So how do you get your super? The moment you spawn in, start a stopwatch and hide... wait until about 30-33 seconds and jump off the edge resulting in your death, but keeping the energy gathered. Keep doing so until you have your super. Now time for the gear that is used - For my scenario, I was equipped with full Crotas end gear, but for the chest piece I used "[b]Heart of the Praxic Fire[/b]" (this allows you to spam fusion gernades faster) For the Primary Weapon, I equipped [b]Bad Juju[/b]. This allows you to shoot without reloading (giving you kill something before running out of ammo) and also gives super energy per kill you get. Special Weapon was "[b]Black Hammer[/b]" - Mainly to help with the damage in the beginning/end Heavy weapon I used just a simple Legendary launcher, as i do not have Hunger of Crota. For the Subclass you want to have Fusion Gernades equipped with Gift of the sun - giving you two fusion gernades. Fireborn is a must (a little too obvious) and Viking Funeral is Definitely needed. Anything else is mainly to your liking and to suit you with your survival (mainly armor/ recovery) [u][b]Strategy[/b][/u] (For visual guide, use link above) - When you are ready to face Atheon, jump to the middle platform and fire rockets and or snipe him until your timer says 30-33 seconds. (Preferably 33 seconds for me) Jump off the platform to your death and wait until the bottom left text says He is summoning his supplicants. [u]DO NOT RESURRECT WHEN HE "OPENS THE TIMESTREAM" [/u] - Now that you have resurrected start spamming your grenades on atheon. - Once your super is done, immediately turn right and start working clockwise clearing the harpies. The video is a great visual guide on how to place yourself and so forth. (WARNING) Some harpies stay back near the center when they spawn.. they always come in 3's. if you see only 2... look towards atheon. Harpies are essential to your super as you need to kill them to gain your super back. - Once Atheon Has started moving around again, you have roughly 5 seconds or so before he starts his process again, so make sure to just chuck a grenade at him then jump off. - Rinse and repeat this method until about 9 min in. This is When he starts to enrage. DON'T PANIC. Do everything like you usually would... as long as you have your super up. Once you've used your last super, when he is already enraged, you want to burn him down as fast as possible. (the harpies immediately become aggressive when Atheon enrages) - Wala! You've solo'd Atheon!
