I made my own review of the PS4 scuf controller after now having it for about a week, and I decided to do so because a lot of the reviews you find out there are mainly just sponsored players praising the product. I used it for both PVE and PVP purposes but my review focuses on it's use in PVP scenarios. If you have a scuf controller as well and have some thoughts on it that I forgot or simply ignored, feel free to comment them below here on the post. Thanks, and have a great day Guardians.

Edited by Shen Anzusen: 1/20/2016 8:58:51 AMThere are also some different options in europe. Aimassist Controllers from Poland, King Controllers from Germany and Burn Controllers from France. I just ordered one from Burn Controllers. All in all I have to conclude that they all seem to have their pros and cons. Edit: I personally wouldn't choose Scuf Gaming because I heard about bad customer service and a lack of quality too many times.

Xbox elite controller for days
-
All these xcock users are really hanging onto their elite controllers must suck to suck
-
Man, you should see the kickass master chief elite controller I have
-

Edited by SpaceMagic: 1/19/2016 11:30:34 PMSo one thing I wanted to see was build quality. Most people I've talked to with scufs bitch that they aren't built very well. Second would be why scuf? Why not sharq? Why not cinch, or evil, or battle beaver? I have a cinch, and will say it is far more ergonomic and easier to use then any of the paddle controllers, did you look into any of the controllers that offer buttons instead of paddles? Third would be customer service, everything I've read says scuf has by far the worst customer service, to the point of where they refuse to answer emails. What was your experience with them? Edit typo

Good video. You might want to write down a script, though, an ad-lib a little less. You wandered at times and a script might keep your videos crisper.

What scuff controller did you get? I dropped $250 on mine and have four paddle sticks on the back, trigger stops, medium length sticks, custom D-pad, side grips even tho I think they make my hands more sweaty lol, I went with a green controller with white sticks smoke black buttons and white grips, it looks pretty sick

Evil controllers were before your time weren't they. Evil controllers came before scuf
-
Xbox Elite controller is the best controller ever made.

Edited by ThisMahSwamp: 1/19/2016 5:16:45 PMI don't have a Scuf per se, but I do have an Xbox elite controller. The shorter trigger pull and grips are fantastic, but I find little use for the levers underneath the controller. I have tried various combinations on different games and have only found myself using 3 at the most and that was playing Halo 5. For Destiny I only use one and programed it for sprint....because sprint is still broken in this game and my thumbs can't take mashing the thumbstick down any longer.
Jokes aside, using the lever for sprint in Destiny has saved my hand. With the hours I have put into this game jamming the stick down was really taking its toll on my thumb.
Edited by Da_KnightMare: 1/19/2016 9:12:55 PMI have one and the only complaint is their thumsticks they used. It wears out quickly, within 4 months and I just sent mine back for repair. If anyone is going to purchase a Scuf controller, get it with the default PS4 thumbsticks and buy some Kontrol Freaks as well. At least with this option, you can just buy more Kontrol Freaks when the rubber on the thumbsticks wear out instead of having to send the controller back for repairs.

Edited by hydroRIZZY: 1/19/2016 9:09:52 PM*****IMO*****Well given the fact that scuf controllers are banned from any competitive scene its really not worth the money to invest in, on a competitive level. In terms of just Destiny puppeteer solves most aim issues when using shadestep, garrison, or crouch strafing. All in all its not worth $. If you wanted to spend money on a controller just buy a custom macro controller. Macro is way better!!!!!! Little more expensive but way worth it. ( macro controller with one button would fatality in MK )***** IMO ***** Edit Scuf controllers were allowed in MLG C.O.D (where they made their debute, because the "sponsorship" the company provided. They were not allowed in 3 open tournaments in 2015 to my knowledge. (Probably b/c they didnt provide sponsorship, -343 had one. And a couple others.) Still the investment is not worth your $ given stick and/button layouts will fix the "button sacrifice" issue anyone has in any game mode And not all pro gamers use them. Your favorite pro FPS gamer most likely, unless sponsored by scuf, doesnt use one either in tournaments.

Thumb sticks kept breaking on mine, and it made a squealing noise in my mic, so I dropped it for a original xbox wired controller and haven't looked back.
-
it's almost like cheating... i let my kid use it...
-
Bumping so I can watch the vid after work is finished...I'm in the market for a fancy controller and am very interested in a unbiased opinion.
-
Very good video.
-
Cool, might watch the vid later when I get a chance....my scuf should be here by next week
-
It might be because I've had mine for over a year, but I've noticed that the paddles aren't as responsive as the actual buttons. Still, it works wonders in pvp.
-
love my scuf, literally struggle to play without one now, feels strange without the paddles!
-
I used to want one but I feel like the bumper would wear out trying to titan skate all the time spamming the jump button. I prefer the jumper controller load out anyway for destiny
-
I've noticed my scuf isn't as useful in destiny as it is in battlefield / COD / CS:GO I've actually gone back to a regular controller for destiny
-
Good vid. Nice snipes. Just ordered one... we shall see how i go with it. I'm no pro so it's full capabilities may be lost on me : / If nothing else it will freshen up destiny a bit.
