I've lost count of how many times someone has said something similar to me. Usually that person holds out, and then dies. I'd rather you not end up like them.

[b]He sighs[/b] You're impossible. Well, I can at least try and take your mind off of whatever it is. Brooding solves little. [b]He puts his arm around your shoulder, grinning slightly at you.[/b] What say you we have a little friendly competition at the shooting range?

[i] Ronin glances at his arm around his shoulder then down at the three swords at his hip.[/i] "You do know I'm a swordsman."

Precisely. I'm curious how well you can handle a bit of recoil. Kinda hard to have a sword competition. I got myself one, not particularly great with it.

"I can shoot just fine, and I'm not particularly in the mood for it." [i] He starts to walk away, before hesitating and looking over his shoulder.[/i] "Coming?"

[i] Ronin pulls the one sword Nobody has seen unsheathes before; the brilliant white and gold one. Lance slashes the blade through the air, seemingly cutting the air. It opens a slit in the air about 4 feet wide and 6 feet tall, a swirling purple and black mass where clear air should be. [/i] "Still coming?" [i] He says with a smirk in his tone.[/i]

[b]He laughed nervously and scratches the side of his head[/b] Oh, this is gonna hurt isn't it.

"One way to find out." [i] Ronin makes a, "you first," gesture.[/i]

[i]Nobody feels a pulling sensation, like being in a car at 100mph, and a feeling like being thrust under water, minus the wetness with the pressure. He and Ronin appear on a piece of land in the middle of the ocean, the land only being a hundred yards across or so in every direction. It is nothing but dirt and no signs of wildlife, greenery, or even a shrub. Just dirt. The ocean is spread out around them and goes as far as the eye can see, water, water, and more water. Off in the sunset, the sun is a peculiar green, rather than its normal orange/yellow.[/i]

You know what, the explanation would probably just hurt my brain anyway.

"Most likely." [i] He looks around, picking up a stone and chucking it into the ocean.[/i] "It's a nice place. Peaceful. Only because the rest of the human race is extinct." [i] He says sourly.[/i]

"What do you mean?" [i] He says with a grin, knowing Nobody was catching on.[/i]
