Any that I miss? Anything that shouldn't be there?
If you say screamo or anything like it, do not vote in this poll. Thank you.
I didn't include Blues because I felt it's more of its own genre and I also feel that its fan base isn't quite as large. Anybody agree or disagree?

Edit: Never thought Rock 'n' Roll (Elvis, Chuck Berry, etc.) would be beating Classic Hard Rock (AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Queen, etc.).

Both Classic Rock categories. I like bands like Pink Floyd, The Beatles, and Jethro Tull as well as heavier classic rock groups like The Who, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple. And just to be clear, I consider metal a derivative of rock, thus making Black Sabbath classic rock.

Prog, Alt, and a bit of psychedelic by way of Pink Floyd
-
The only rock bands I listen to are Steely Dan and Joy Division so I guess it's jazz fusion/soft rock and post-punk :)
-
Doom & Stoner.
-
Heavy metal is what the weirdos and freaks listen to.
-
Damn hard choice.
-
Thrash Metal... Metallica ftw
-
All of rock is pretty good, from Chuck Berry and Little Richard on down to Seether. Personally, the old classic hard rock/metal like AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Motörhead, Deep Purple, Rainbow, Aerosmith, Judas Priest, Metallica, etc is the best.

Edited by Meister Grunt: 1/19/2016 3:54:38 AMGrunge, and alt rock (just because of Weezer).
-
Heavy metal is its own genre. Things like thrash metal and death metal are subgenres of metal.
-
I'm honestly surprised about Rock 'n' Roll.

*puts on an antic disposition* "Screamo" is simply emotional music with scream vocals.
And falls under heavy metal.
I like metal with scream vocals but don't really care if it's "screamo."
Since its existence as an actual genre is debatable.
