To my surprise i still have friends who don't know about the browser method of managing your gear in destiny. Most people are familiar and know about using the mobile app
iOS: https://goo.gl/QK1ZyN
Android: https://goo.gl/f5PE5g
Which was the fastest method, until bungie gave birth to this highly efficient browser method. If your not entirely sure if it's faster than using your app, then put this method to the test. Load a character and switch gear using your browser, then do the same using your mobile app. Once you've put it to the test let know how'd it go (-_^)d.

If my laptop is charged and close I use the chrome extension destiny item manager. If I'm on my phone I use tower ghost. Both able to save weapons sets and one click transfer them all.

Edited by Reiisan: 1/21/2016 4:35:45 PMDIM (destiny item manager) on Chrome is now my go to. Love the custom builds, saving setups for different roles Doing some random activity and get a shout for trials, raid, nightfall with burn etc - go to orbit, 2 mouse clicks, all gear loaded and equipped ready for your next activity.

The Ishtar commander app works really well for me.
-
DIM is better
-
My laptop is usually in my brothers room so I'll have to stick with the app.
-
Phone app.. Load outs for destiny. Thank me later

Hmm, never knew this, and my laptop is next to me 90% of the time. Thank you.

Half way through I decided to play a game and take a shot every time he said "you know"
im dead

from alcohol poison
Doesn't the outcome of testing which method is faster depend a lot on where your computer is located in respect to where you're gaming? I personally don't game with a laptop next to me and my PC is in another room so for me the app is a much faster choice.

Nice vid, very helpful! Thanks!

Yes, using the computer is faster than using your phone to transfer stuff. It's a no brainer.
