It did if people were getting reported. The majority rules. Who is Bungie going to cater to? Their quiet majority or their vocal minority? Not to mention there are other loot caves in the game right now that have been here since launch.

wasn't the loot cave patched to stop the reports? they didn't care about the glitch, just the amount of reports they had to go through.

I never heard of people reporting people for loot cave. Only reason it was nerfed was on Bungie's justification on how the game "should" be played.

No, they nerfed it cause chumps were spamming it to farm crap. The nerf was justifiable and warranted. Just like the ToC nerf was justifiable and warranted.
