My son is 10 years old and a very good Destiny player. When he finally got to level 295 through PVP and grinding, I took him with me to find a raid group for Oryx. I told him to mute his mic so that others wouldn't hear him so that he could "focus on learning the raid". I told the others in the group that his mic didn't work but he could hear everyone and we were in the same room. He struggled a little with the ship jumping section but followed instructions perfectly and we finished the raid with no real issue. (mostly kudos to the other AWESOME people we had with us!) We didn't even have our first wipe until Golg and only wiped once with the Sisters and Oryx. After we were done, I told everyone that the other person we were playing with was only 10 then I let him unmute his mic to tell everyone in the group "thanks". Everyone was very surprised and very cool about it not to mention being able to play Destiny with my boy is a ton of fun and a great experience for him.
