I think it's worth it. The significant tax revenue (tax increases) are on people who make over $500,000. Even then the marginal rate isn't too ridiculous (around 40%). Lower and middle class tax hikes will still save them money compared to current costs of education and healthcare. More jobs and more training means a bigger middle class and more tax payers = more tax revenue. I think the fear of these proposals is nearly fair, except that they are speculation as well and are cynical as to market behavior, whereas I generally believe that people will try to make more money even if their taxes go up a few %.
