I don't know if you're being sarcastic, but whether or not you are I'll give you a legit answer, and that's a no. You're connection wouldn't improve to the outside world, maybe you're internal connection might depending on how you configure it, but that's why you have a router. A server like this is completely pointless to users like yourself.
