it's funny seeing everyone complaining about sbmm bc they can't pubstomp anymore and their precious k/ds are dropping
you feel like every match is a sweaty now? u don't like losing? how do you think randoms felt going up against you.
u say u can't take a match off now, lol, like u ever did before. please the only time u unequip the meta is when bungie creates a new one with their "balancing"
basically if you complain about sbmm, only thing I have to say is git gud scrub
and let the attacks on my k/d begin
edit: if its the lag that bothers you, then complain about the lag. Bungie said they will look into the latency issues, if you want to believe them
-
Sorry that CBMM is better because it's annoying to playing against a lager from across the world who won't die.
-
People hate it because every game is a lag feat now. Asshole, obnoxious prick.
-
You only like it because your stats suck and you play other shitty kids. You were the one getting pub stomped lol.
-
A: i will still complain about the lag B: i seem to be doing better than before using non meta weapons so im fine
-
I don't like it because I'm not a hardcore PvP player and just want to get my quests done and go back to PvE.
-
People like the idea, this game just needs dedicated servers :)
-
I like it because... 1.) Im not getting obliterated by better players, which allows me to "git gud" 2.) I don't get into matches where I crush other people (by NO MEANS does this mean Im good. Just don't like winningly easily:/) 3.) It feels slightly challenging which again , Allows and FORCES me to "git gud"
-
I like SBMM.Bungo just can't execute it very well. ex.laggy games

Edited by Lizcuits: 2/24/2019 11:15:59 PMIts better to be matched based on skill, its not fun to just steamroll every team you meet (well, it is, but it's not fun at all to be the one getting steamrolled). PvP isn't supposed to be easy, its supposed to be a challenge, and the only way for it to be a challenge is to play against people your own skill level. How is it fair that lower skilled players always have to play with people way above their level simply because of randomly selected teams to play against each other? While I agree it may take the fun of stomping on less skilled teams, it adds fun for the majority of players who struggle to compete with more skilled teams.

I just don't like the lag that comes with playing people on the other side of the world.
-
true man people can't play people there own skill level
-
Brah I just can't find a match full stop anymore. Been playing three player rumble, 10 player control etc

Edited by Daddy Chill (Adept): 1/23/2016 2:48:32 AMSbmm doesn't fix lag because the only possible person that I can play with lives in ducking Antarctica... Let's do sbmm from our own areas and I'll be happy
-
Edited by Mr.Shickadance: 1/23/2016 2:21:28 AMI think people complain about SBMM because of all the "lag switchers" and the like who try to take advantage of Bungie's matchmaking regularly. Remember when the whole "change your MTU so you lag and can wreck in Trials and IB" happened around a year ago? Even if it is honest bad connections why am I stuck in their lobby as one of three green bars in a full lobby? It gets frustrating kill-trading because of how bad the connection is. How prevalent is the purposeful lagging today?
-
Not only is every match sweaty af, it takes longer to find matches, and the connection in those games can be pretty awful if you are playing at odd hours for your timezone. SBMM hurts the lower skill leveled players as well because you never learn to play against anyone better and often lower skilled players learn by playing with better players on their team. The fact that you can actually leave your spawn and push helps a lot.
-
If you are s*** at PvP (as I am) then you are not going to improve by playing other s*** players. If you are a great PvP player, you will play other great PvP players and if sbmm Is to be believed you will end up with a kd of 1.0 So we all end up playing each other anyway. Me with my s***** skill against some PvP animal, because if sbmm is a thing, we will all win as many as we lose.
-
The problem I have with Skill Based Love Making is that it feels like the game punishes you a bit. I'm admittedly inconsistent. But I often feel that, yes, the players I face are around my KD. But why am I being teamed up with folk who are well below and thus, Creates a severe imbalance and they just leave? And one more problem I have. I want to play PVP, try some load outs and have fun. But being teamed up with players who far outclass me isn't fun, I then need to use the META friendly weapons to even stand a chance. I feel it should be ranked and unranked. If I wanna sweat my balls off, I'll jump into Skill Based Love Making. If I wanna run about with a dregs promise and see how I get, I won't.
-
I like sbmm but I don't like that it takes priority over latency
-
It's not that I want to play people who I can wipe the floor with, it's just I want to play people I can have a good connection with That's what people seem to be complaint about with the sbmm Not that they're being paired with equal players, but the fact that that player is in India and they're in California.
-
What the fresh hell is sbmm? Can we not simply take the 5 extra seconds to type out whatever it is?
-
All it means is that they ensure you don't win as often as you could. You win by a good margin, if your alone they group you in with a bunch of scrubs to bring you down.
-
Eh it's not that man For example I usually use my finnalas peril in normal crucible but I've noticed that for a the past 2 months, 4 guys in every lobby are try Harding ( tlw/thorn/tys) and my guns don't keep up The only reason I preferred the old matchmaking was because a lot of the times, I just go around the map meleeing people, haven't done that in months because of how sweaty every thing is Takes a good chunk of the fun out of the crucible for me
-
It is hurting a lot heh... Well, I'll just have to get good......
-
I'm not so bothered with SBMM, just make sure it's people within my geographical area so the pings are similar...
-
It's cool but PvP overall need a fine tune-up
