Here's what I'd like to see in the next update.
1000 yard stare is a problem in the crucible given that is has insane amounts aim assist. I would recommend lowering the aim assist to a "Praedyth's revenge" level maybe even snipers in general so that no one base sniper has a higher status then the other.
From what I've experienced in the crucible mida doesn't appear to have the same "OP" status as meta guns in the past but it could use a tweek, given that it has such a high AA and can kill you with a four shot head shot giving it a very fast kill time. I'd recommend either dropping the AA a bit or making it or make it a five shot head shot to shorten it's kill time or to make the four shot head shot harder to hit.
Fusion rifles could use a tweek in general as they aren't very popular to the public and can't seem to rival shotguns and snipers. I would recommend maybe making their shots easier to get hits with (given that you not only have to take precious time to charge it up but you also have to land just about every bolt to get the kill) If it took half or 3/4 of the bolts to get a kill I could see them being much more popular. if not that then maybe reduce the random horizontal projectile spread to make it easier to land all the bolts on your target.
Side arms are another gun that are in the corner club as they too are not as popular. A way to make them a more attractive gun is by making them more like the original (Vestian dynasty). They need less recoil and maybe a bit more stability to get the upper hand on someone.
Sunbreaker could use a slight buff on hammer travel speed, seeing as how cauterize and the armor gave the class a god status I'm not sure we want to touch that but if the hammer speed was a little faster (in the hands of a skilled player) it would be a little more popular among the titan crowd.
This is all I have to say in terms of re-balancing for now.
BTW forums, this is how you provide some proper feedback.
I personally think that aim assist isn't as much of a problem as people think it is. There's actually several issues for why they're overpowered: 1. The range stat doesn't matter for them, and as of 2.1, it matters even less. 2. They're the only non-heavy weapon that can reliably 1 hit kill someone during a super or someone being revived. 3. If someone shoots at you, you can still counteract the aim deflection and still 1 hit kill them. 4. PvP maps have much more cover in long range areas, so they're harder to use in crucible, but not PvE. Then, PvP-ers complain that people in PvE who say they need nerfs just don't know how to play the game. This means that Bungie can't nerf them without angering PvP-ers. 5. They're the only special weapon that has yet to be nerfed. They were actually been buffed in the 2.1 update. Basically, we're screwed.
