Grinding for purple ammo packs will soon become a thing of the past, if VG247 sources are to be believed.
Bungie is to sell Destiny ammo packs for real money, a source familiar with the matter has confirmed to VG247.
It’s as yet unknown when the feature will be added to the online shooter.

At one point i would have said thats bull without even thinking about it and it probably is bull but the sad thing is the way destiny is going and i think yeah i can see that happening and that is the big problem this game has got.

2 RepliesI see no reason to complain because ammo is easy to get. No one would buy this and if they do that is their investment with their money. No one as the authority to force you to pay for this. If you played this game since y1 this should not even bother you because you have a method of acquiring this painfully abundant resource so just go about your business.

Just like pulse rifles were getting up to 9% nerfs. Just like micro transactions are cosmetics. Just like the didn't put the "buy a class starter kit." Just they didn't nullify all work in year 1 after stating "the last thing we wanted was for you to look at your favorite gun or helmet and decide that it had become obsolete."
