The OP complains about having to always play sweaty games with SBMM... That's how it's always been for new or inexperienced players since the very beginning. SBMM has a part to play in keeping the new players in the game long enough for them to git gud (or simply improve), What I want and I suspect most people here want is for there to be less lag - preferably no lag. I'd much prefer a fair fight - fair in skill and fair in connection.

 • They should do it like this Region -> Cnnection -> Skill

 • I would disagree. I think the best way to get better IS to be up against those players who are "sweaty" and much better than you. Or to play in a fire team with people who are better than you and accept their pointers. You won't get better by playing people that are at the same level of you. If you want to get better at lifting you need to lift heavier and heavier weights, not stick with the same weight the whole time.

 • People complain about facing sweaties sbmm and then say they want to have fun but don't understand having a good time is not worrying about your k/d. It's about laughing and being a troll trying to make it more difficult for yourself.sbmm is fine the only improvement it needs is better connection.

 • I do crucible to have a good time. The very best games I've ever played were those that were fair - fair in skill and without lag. Unequal skill matching, in either direction, takes away from that.

 • I consider myself a very good crucible player, and regular crucible is way harder than trials. Shouldn't be like that

 • You must be running up against some scrubs in trials man. Like I said I'm a casual pvp'r at best but I can at least stay up for more than 1 min in crucible. I just get -blam!- in trials every time I show up.

 • I understand where you are coming from because you are 100 percent right. It was implemented to keep new players from getting pub-stomped right off the bat. The problem with how Bungie implemented it is that they don't give us a choice, e.g. Ranked playlists, and they don't scale the search. Meaning if there is no one on your skill level currently searching for a match in your are they will just broaden then search and keep on doing so until your matched up with people on a different continent. Again this isn't all the time I have had some lag free matches. But it happens enough to where it is now a big problem. This sbmm has to be removed and severely revamped if it is gojng to be effective at all. It should be regional imo. And should scale down the needed skill level to match up. It's ok if you get pub-stomped from time to time that's how the game should be. This system is severely flawed and should be removed. That's my opinion at least.
