You guys are working hard and get flak for these little events. So far, these events have been all about pvp, with the exception to one or two minor Festival of the Lost requests.
I suggest to tide over the masses with weekly 3 or 6 player Taken Raid throwbacks!
Every week, the featured Year One Raid (Including PoE) is invaded by Taken. To access, the leader must gain Taken Runes in Court of Oryx.
X amount is required to unlock the Taken Raid for a week. The higher the tier completed, the higher quality of the rune, affecting the loot gained in the end. The Runes are consumed throughout the Raid to yield higher light gear. Other players must have runes of their own to gain loot too.
If its the VoG twice in a row, switch up the taken encounter, add strange mechanics. Maybe have rapid psions multiplication with protective Goblins and a moderate boost to super gain?
The loot doesn't have to be new, can just be random gear from year two, (but have a tiny chance to produce tweaked year one loot with a taken weapon skin, maybe?).
As this is the Internet, you will always receive criticism for what you do, but you aren't, really throwing us a bone, leaving us in the dark, having many doubt a future for Destiny. Many have posted about year one raids needing to be brought forward, but I believe my suggestion is very Year Two and something to do until the next big content drop, or even game.
Deej, Cozmo! please get on this!
