Apparently this has already been initiated, because for the last few weeks I had a blast playing against equally bad players as myself. But tonight, I saw nothing but mida or last word, and was constantly sniped from angles I didn't know existed. So incredibly NOT fun. I'd rather see the occasional lagged out red bar player, than constantly face a bunch of hardcore sweaties and their 1000 yd stares.
I'm not good at pvp. I know it. I don't even attempt trials. Never been to Mercury. And I'm cool with that. But regular old crucible? I'm old, with a career and kids, so I'm not gonna "git gud". Just don't have the time nor skill. But I really enjoyed playing crucible when it wasn't against a bunch of wannabe twitch streamers.
However, Bungie caters to its whiney, ungrateful pvp community. Just ask auto rifles, and thorn, and pulse rifles, and whatever's next on your endless bitch list.

The new matchmaking is going to begin testing in IB rift wednesday at 10am pacific. Theres an update about it.

Edited by Racebum: 1/26/2016 7:35:47 AMI also think they have done something. Over the weekend I was going negative as hell and unable to kill most the people in my match. I would randomly drop dead. Supers would not have any effect. I basically turned the game off and just played some black ops. Today I tried clash and it played just fine. I was able to kill people quickly. It only took four shots with mida. Not ten like over the weekend. I also died quickly and legitimately. Titans did not have blink anymore. I could tell the ping was considerably quicker
