It's called the Mida Multi Tool for a reason. It's just the right archetype for most ranges and is pretty much one of the most versatile guns in the game. You mention it's like VoC but can't you remember guns like the One One Synthete and the High road soldier?(You can shit on people just as well with VoC archetype) They are the same archetype as Mida it just doesn't pop in loot that much cause bungie hasn't added any legendaries of the same archetype. I do agree with you though I think Mida has high caliber rounds but oh well that's what gives it an exotic feeling imo.
