Mida used to be unspecial back in the fay, since there was sooo many guns that was technically better/crutchier. There were definitely people who knew how to use it well, but for the majority it was whatever. Now that everything has been more or less "balanced ", Mida just feels OP.

Yep. It's been untouched and a wrecking ball the entire time. I have a friend who's used MIDA since it dropped for him in year one and he destroyed with it. No complaints then. YouTube publishers hyped it up and made people desire it. It was only then that people started flocking to get it. Damn YouTube ruining our hidden gem.
