[b]What I Want[/b] It's not a new idea, and it's going to focus on PvE as that's mostly what I do, but it's going to be stated clearly so that if and when we get Bungie's attention, they will know exactly why we're assembling in protest. I want the Vault of Glass, Crota's End, and Prison of Elders updated to Year 2, with a couple of additions. I'll start with Prison of Elders, as that's the easiest of the three to update. Add a new difficulty to each of the parts. For the base arena, 200 light; for the first challenge arena, 240 light; for the second, 260 light; and for Skolas, 280 light. There doesn't need to be any changes to the physical layouts of these arenas, but create a chance for the room to be Taken, where the enemies are replaced with their Taken counterparts. Optionally, this could apply to the bosses as well, where the Ultra is replaced with one of the Patrol event Taken Champions. For the Vault of Glass, the current difficulties should be renamed "Legacy Normal" and "Legacy Hard," with new additions of a level 32 Normal and a level 37 Hard. My plan and reasoning behind these level choices is that the raids should be tiered to create a progression of the raids, with King's Fall still being at the top. If the community voices against this, though, I'll make an edit to reflect those opinions. Crota's End should undergo a similar revamp, with the new difficulties being level 38 for the new Normal and 220 light for Hard. I don't want Taken in the Vault of Glass or Crota's End, as that doesn't fit into the game's timeline. I do want the gear to be updated, even if it's as simple as adding an Infusion option to the original gear. Of course, these new versions would only be acquired during the new difficulties. In addition -- as many of the hardcore players would still be disappointed if the raids still had no purpose for them -- I want the new hard modes of each raid and Prison of Elders to give a brand new exotic weapon, specific to the location. Vex-themed for Vault of Glass, Hive-themed for Crota's End, etc. Each of these exotics would be on Gjallahorn levels of both rarity and shear, blissful, power. [b]How I plan on Making Bungie Listen[/b] This idea has been thrown around a lot, but it's not something anyone's attempted to organize, either. It's time to start boycotting. From 12:00am on Saturday, February 6th to 11:59pm on Sunday, February 7th, I won't be playing Destiny. As the tweet from Deej mentioned, Bungie pays better attention to the numbers than to posts like this one, so I'm planning on hitting them exactly there. I'm just one nobody, though, so I won't even be a blip on Bungie's radar. After I finish typing this post, I intend on passing the word to all of the major Destiny Youtubers, in the hopes that word will spread around. If you agree with my ideas, feel free to join me in my inactivity. Timezones, in this case, don't matter, as we'll all overlap at some point or another. If you have connections to major Destiny channels, please also pass word onto them. If you have minor disagreements, such as level choices or gear options, feel free to voice them! My ideas are up for debate and discussion, as this is supposed to be the community's movement. For the same reasoning, if you do not support this movement for whatever reason -- maybe you only do PvP, and/or couldn't care less about the old raids and Prison of Elders -- be my guest and continue playing. It is entirely your choice. To anyone from Bungie who may read this post, I hope these ideas will at least be taken under consideration, and maybe spark a channel of communication directly to you. Because the silence is infuriating.[/quote] So I saw this on the forums, although I wouldn't boycott it completely (yes I want to do trials) I am a huge fan that we should do something like this to get Bungie to listen to us. I know a ton of salt will come in from this so I'll open my mouth. Just wanted to spread this post.
