Go to Mississippi. You would be shocked at the grinding poverty and the bullheadedness of the average worker. I'm an engineer in a very particular field and was on a business trip down there, small town, helping out other engineers in their local hospital. Pay came up during my stay. My god man, these people may not be quite as good as me but they are being paid peanuts. I live in rural IL so the dollar is almost equal, apples to apples, catch my drift? It was college educated people even. Slitting their own wrists based on generations of weird ideology passed on. Crazy but in the end i realized these people were happier being held down. God that sounds crazy to say......... Weird times we live in here in the US of A. Very strange.
