Here's the part you missed: Sometimes players with well-established accounts will create a new character. Once that character reaches level cap (let's call it adulthood), max level gear can be withdrawn from the bank and the character is in an endgame raid!
Meanwhile, a new person comes along and creates a character without the benefit of a loaded vault. They reach level cap, and are busting their ass to try to get the gear just to enter this endgame raid. They're getting better gear, but the threshold for raid participation keeps shifting. "Must be 315 light, 316, 317, 318...Must have Black Spindle to raid, must have raid gear to join Black Spindle group" They're no better or worse of a player as the first person, they just don't have the same resources. And it's hard to get resources without already having resources.
So, if you're the kind of person that realizes some people just need a bit of help, maybe you're a Sanders guy. If you're the kind of person that believes it's every guardian for themselves, maybe you're a Rand guy. And if you're the kind of person that says "GIT GUD -blam!-SCRUB", you might be a Trump guy.

Big difference between charity (helping someone out) and having the government steal your earnings to "help" someone to lazy to help themsleves. Bernie isnt about helping anyone. Fair share to a socialist is him and his buddies live like kings while the peaseants starve. I guess if venesuala (sp) or chilie, or north korea look like paradise then #thestupiditberns might be your guy. However i prefer both economic and personal freedom, so socialists can go -blam!- themselves with a pineapple.

Edited by Dyalar: 1/27/2016 4:24:47 PMFirst of all, Venezuela and Chile have nothing to do with this discussion. Bernie touts the Nordic model of Socialism. Second of all, you're a Trump guy. Got it. You assume that all poverty is due to laziness and not circumstance. Finally, if you honestly think Bernie has ulterior motives, you should spend some time looking at what he's done throughout his life. I'm a very cynical person, and he's the first politician I've ever seen that seems completely honest. I don't agree with all of his policies, but I sure as hell trust him to do the right thing more than any of the rest of the Presidential hopefuls.

Hahahaha, so you think comparing other failed socialist countries to what that moron bernies is advocating isnt relevent to the conversation? Let me guess, you think that socialism despite its historical failure will work this time because we finally have the "right" guy in power. Are his motives as pure as fresh snow. Maybe. Is he honest in his presentation, sure you got me there. But he is one ignorant asshole if he in a true believer in socialism. Socialism despite its promise of equality and utopia always overlooks why it routinely fails in reality. People are selfish. Plain and simple. It will always fail because human beings will look out for their own self interests before the look out for strangers. And when everyone is made equal by the all powerful government they become complacent. They stop trying to improve. They accept mediocrity, and stagnation. Its a philosophy of failure.

Failed? Nordic countries are regularly ranked as the happiest countries in the world and the least corrupt countries in the world. The -blam!- else do you want? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Happiness_Report https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corruption_Perceptions_Index

How is Norway or Sweden a failure? They have better quality of life, longer life spans, lower child mortality rates, better education levels of citizens.

:O This is the best, most succinct description of wealth privilege I've ever read. I'd start a slow clap if there were anyone here to join in.

Totally agree "Life wasn't easy for me either, my father gave me a small loan of 1 million strange coins". -Trump
