Any other solos out there actually enjoying iron rift
So I booted up destiny an hopped on into what I thought was gonna be lag spawn kill fest 2016. And other then a few rough matches I've been blown away by how much fun I've been having. Haven't been running a good kd, but I've been just annoying the hell out of the other team with shade step and my iron wreath. And it's been a blast. So color me surprised bungie good job this time

Too be honest at first no. Then I remember why I loved playing... Because it's a challenge. First time really playing PvP in depth was last IB after that I began playing other types on crucible but never rift haha go figure. Anyways it's rewarding knowing you can adapt to the game. I enjoyed the team work aspect. I'm learning a lot by getting killed. Won't give any secrets away but I'm picking it up. Its gonna be sweet getting that scout.

I played 4 games for my roommate who wanted help with the top score bounty, I really enjoyed them. Disclaimer: he is 0.7 k/d points below me, so I went off all 4 games, even playing against a team of four.

I've been enjoying it for the most part. Rift is way better for IB than clash was. My only major suggestion would be removing the ability to blink when carrying the spark. I pretty well personally owned a whole enemy team that way and invoked mercy rule. And i fairly suck at PvP.

I actually find playing solo or with one other player to be better than a while team. I'm sorry when I'm playing I don't want to hear a bunch of yapping lol and I like the variety of players :-)

Yesterday. It was going so great. After a few matches of me winning and having a positive k/d. It went down to the ground.

Me and a mate of mine we got matched up 6vs 2 lol I managed to even get the spark then was gunned down this went on for about 1min then people started to join was funny at first and we did lose the match

Totally enjoying it. Playing solo only 14 wins to 14 losses with 4 top scores. No issues here at all. Only seen one laggy player. Done clash, control an rift, all have worked for IB. I do focus on the objective though, so that helps.

I believe that the games are getting better for two reasons. The first is the matchmaking, it always helps when a head shot is a headshot, the lag difference is huge for me. I've had 1 "skipper" in 5 matches where before it was 1 to 1. (not looking forward to trials as its always skippers) need the match making on there asap! second is that there seem to be far less "idiots" in the game. either they have finally realised what an objective game mode is all about or they all quit the ironbanner because they couldnt understand how they lost. either way. I've been enjoying it the last 5-6 games. prior to that (Tuesday night) I was ready to break something or someone.

I am. Had a bunch of 6k+games last night. I'm going to attribute it to the matchmaking tweaks.

I'm definintely not. I'm finding it a lot harder to win matches and being thrown in with a losing team. Normally I win about 50% of the matches but this time it's generally 4 or 5 losses before I win. I'm definitely not enjoying this as much as control.

Yeah, I've been enjoying it. I played a bit solo and a bit with a 3 man fireteam, and both have been fun. The hate is silly. There are some lopsided games of course but I'm actually seeing a lot of very competitive ones.

I like rift IB. It's not hard to run solo and I've got a 310 boot drop from an endgame drop.

6 RepliesSince I stopped trying to play it like the rest of the team (rift camping etc) and started playing tactically (get near the spark, and either grab the spark, or run as a blocker/sacrifice for the spark runner) been getting much better. Also don't care about K/D. The objective is to score, having a 5.0+ k/d and no runs/captures means epic fail. TL:DR Protect the runner at all costs, k/d is unimportant
