While I understand he was the CEO, I am unsure if he was behind actually making the decision to boot Marty.
((For those who don't know, Marty got very vocal when Activision and Bungie made no plans to release Music of the Spheres, to the point where they weren't responding. Not liking his attitude, they have decided to give him the boot.))
If it was Ryan... and everything else you claim is true, then I agree. I was willing to do horrific things to Bungie involving many bladed instruments when I heard Marty was fired. With how disorganized the process was, I have no doubt it was made more on emotion than planning... that was a big mistake.
Here's to hoping Ryan's replacement leads Bungie down the right path. I'm cautiously optimistic.
