Free market capitalism is the unequal distribution of wealth, socialism is the equal distribution of poverty. Free market capitalism also cause goods to be cheaper so everyone becomes more prosperous. The problem is that you have to look at the whole equation, from your perspective what you see looks greedy and evil but when you step back you realize the opposite is true.
We have been trying to eliminate poverty since around 1965 or whenever the war on poverty began and since then the number of Americans below the poverty line changed by less than 5 percent.
It was not a reduction in the number of Americans below the poverty line but an increase.
