we of the community? we are all pissed off. -blam!- off Byf
No. The Youtubers are pissed off. Me and my friends are perfectly fine with game as is.
Byf. You, datto, moreconsole, and etc DON'T SPEAK FOR US.
The only problem I see is Youtubers Whining like little children. Quit acting like your entitled and Deserve this and that.

Best video I've watched all year. Made me think for a minute that there is hope for this game after all. Lets hope Bungie listens. Thank you for sharing it.

Edited by ReachAndromeda: 1/30/2016 12:19:20 AMByf lost me after that video of him endorsing thorn as a competitive option. But more to your point, I agree with what most youtubers say about the state of the game. They do speak for a majority. Just because you aren't in that majority doesn't mean you need to get so upset.
-
They are their to listen to their comments and speak to the community... BUNGIE ASKED FOR FEEDBACK
-
If he wants to speak for me, that's fine. They won't listen to me.
-
Edited by Now here's the thing: 1/29/2016 8:12:37 PMI agree only with Dattos point on give us a date of something anything otherwise the others are trash
-
They are only trying to improve the game. Chill out
-
Well your opinion I agree with most of what he said
-
"Don't speak for us" and who the hell said you could. You are nothing to this community atleast bungie might listen to them.
-
You're right in that they do not speak for us. They do, however, understanding the feelings of the community at large and are people willing to actually say what people have been saying to each other. They are willing to put their names and faces out there, to carry the banner knowing full well that it means carrying the burden of people like yourself who view their actions as an attack on you. Byf did an excellent video. He didn't bash on Bungie for their mistakes and spell out how they messed up, he kept in it simple. He said this feels wrong, explains why, and then offered up ideas on how to find some middle ground and improve things. Byf, like many people, care deeply for Destiny. Caring means more than just trying to keep it alive, my friend. It means you have to be willing to critize it from time to time.
-
Byf is such a loser
-
I agree with him and the rest of those youtubers even though they don't speak for me. I and like-minded individuals can relate to the frustration that these invested guys show.
-
He speaks the most sense out of all the youtubers. He speaks on behalf of us that would like more variety to be introduced.
-
He may not speak for you, but he does share the same sentiment as a lot of us. I respect that you are fine with the game, learn to respect that others are not.
-
Edited by The Loathsome Dung Eater: 1/29/2016 6:10:34 PMWhether you agree with him or not he brings up good points. If no one tries to make something better it will just remain the same.
-
He's right tho. And whether you disagree or not doesn't matter. So many people have been let down and a lot of us are sick of Bungie's vague "answers"
-
Byf is a raging douchehole.
-
-blam!- off, I agree with him and every other YouTuber that is actually trying to tell Bungie something. You and your friends will never speak for the community. You're just trying to defend Bungie for some -blam!-ing reason.
-
Then why are you promoting his video you retard
-
Sorry - I can't knock someone who spends a lot of time and respectful, thoughtful effort on intelligent Destiny content. Byf does solid work, and frankly I'm not particularly worried about Bungie thinking "oh no, if a YouTuber says it, it must be true."
-
Unlike a large majority of the whiners here, this didn't really bother me all that much. I agree with OP that there's nothing necessarily "broken" about Destiny. It's a fun as hell game that I love to play. I do, however disagree with OP. The video creator is providing an opinion about what he thinks about the game in it's current state, his suggestions for improvement, and above all... he's not being an arse about it. Certainly one can suggest that Bungie be more vocal in what's going on with the development of new content, or any changes made to the game.. it is absolutely fair to ask Bungie to keep us informed. As always most gamers enjoy new content, and would love to see and know about more of it. If more of the Pesticles around here were like this guy, they would garner more support and respect. A far cry from "Bungo yo, shit broke, fix it, gimme free stuff, waaaaaa micro transactions!!!" -somekidnamedviperwithnocharacters
-
They just want to make the game better
-
I watched Byf's vid and couldn't agree more with everything he said. How can you be "perfectly fine with the game as it is"???? Alot of gamers have been asking Bungie to quit with the double-speak and cryptic messages, or lack thereof, and just give us the proposed plan. NO, they continue talking to us like we're 2nd class citizens and alot of people are pissed off about it. You can't ignore that. I think we all understand they can't keep up the pace of year 1, they've actually come out and said as much. We can also see by the recent higher up movement that something is amiss within the company. Just give us a hint at what we "might" expect, that's all. I can see more and more people moving on if something isn't done. All the players you mentioned in your post are active players and their voices are the same as ours, well, I guess not yours. Bungie is obviously NOT responding for some reason. My guess is there's total chaos within the company and because the game was so screwed up at initial launch they have no clue where to go next. I for one don't care about story continuity at this point, BECAUSE it been so messed up. Just give us a different chapter every 6-8 months and I think the majority of the players will be happy. To not say anything is a slap in the face to each and everyone one of us.
-
What game are you and your friends playing, because I don't think it's the same as everyone else in this community...
-
You and your friends are fine with how the game is right now?
-
You realize when they say "we" or "the players", they don't refer to 100% of the community. They are more than well aware that there are some people in the community who disagree, which is why many of them welcome these disagreements to see how their own solution or thoughts might be flawed. The mistake you made was assuming they assumed leadership role for the community When in reality, they are simply a big source for the community in general to tell of their complaints, so that they can get the word out in a bigger way. And tbh, watching datto's videos, I personally find most of his points very valid points to think about. I don't necessarily agree with everything he might say or think about the game, but that doesn't mean I have to assume his points aren't valid either. You have to consider both sides of the spectrum before making a big assumption like this.

I love having a member of the community voice their opinions in a nice way. You failed to do so.
