we of the community? we are all pissed off. -blam!- off Byf
No. The Youtubers are pissed off. Me and my friends are perfectly fine with game as is.
Byf. You, datto, moreconsole, and etc DON'T SPEAK FOR US.
The only problem I see is Youtubers Whining like little children. Quit acting like your entitled and Deserve this and that.

I also like the game as is. I wished there was a ton of new content being released every month, but thats juts not realistic. I'm content to wait for content. In the meantime: - I'm enjoying strikes, patrols, crucible and odds and ends missions. I don't log in every day, but I probably spend 5-10 hours a week on Destiny just running around the Dreadnought or doing random strikes. The game is still a ton of fun for me. - I have yet to experience any real connection issues in almost a year and a half of playing.I'm sure other people have problems, but I think the connection issues that this community likes to complain about are very over stated. - I've only rarely encountered cheaters. It sucks when it happens, but it's not enough to ruin my day. - I think the current crucible meta is fine. I also thought the previous one was fine. And the one before that, going all the way back to day one. The game changes and weapons and abilities are continually being re balanced. Adapting is part of the fun of the game. - I enjoyed SRL. I can't wait for it to come back.

Finally someone making a post about something that is a legitimate argument and has been a member of the forum for more than 1 year. There needs to be more of us.
-
What about TripleWRECK? He was the one who called out bungie and look, no more SBMM.
-
Actually they speak for a majority

Tf is byf u fuk.
-
It's like politics, you follow who you a free with and the politicians carry the influence toward the government. Youtubers have people who do agree/disagree with them but they have the followers to be heard.
-
Lol people put an odd amount of importance on YouTubers.... Never understood it. Being on YouTube doesn't make there opinion hold any more weight... But of course you will have the brigade of preteens shit them selves if you say otherwise. I suppose youtubers are this generations version of Barney lol, kids being fussy just pop on there favorite streamer, maybe datto will start making appearances at birthdays.
-
Edited by lynk: 1/29/2016 6:19:04 AMThink about it in political terms. Imagine that all youtubers are Senators or Representatives. A Senators (youtubers) job is convey to the Fedral Government (Bungie) what the people of their state (subscribers) want or don't want. Senator Byf looks through all of his media outlets (twitter, youtube comments, etc) to figure out what the opinion of the majority of his representees is, and as it turns out, the majority of his following say what Byf said in his letter. His letter contains only the majority opinion. If you happen to disagree with that opinion and are in the minority, oh well. So when Byf says something like "we, the community", he is not including minorities. Keep that in mind. #TitanMasterRace

That guy is just a pretentious, self righteous douche to begin with.
-
Look Clarence Casuals... All of them.
-
I'm not taking anyone's side here, but doesn't anyone remember this? Youtubers: You know, Bungie isn't Satan. Community: BUNGO IS EVIL AND YOU GUYS ARE IDIOTS LIVING IN YOUR PARENTS BASEMENTS!!1!!11! And now we're at this. Just out of curiosity, is there anything anyone can say that won't result in screaming and whining? Anything at all?
-
I don't YouTube, so I don't even know these people. They don't speak for me.
-
Edited by CasualSpooner: 1/29/2016 4:54:34 AMI'm a little frustrated in general, but I somewhat agree...and byf is the worst. He thinks so damn highly of himself, constantly praising himself for his own videos, ranking in the crucible (if there is such a thing) and generally just coming off as a conceited prick. He has this "everything I say is right" attitude that I can not stand anymore. I used to like guardian radio, but between Byf's god complex and belle's complete ignorance of the game...it just sucks. But yeah, they all need to slow their roll
-
Not all, but most are not happy right now.
-
I think triplewreck hit the nail on the head with his video
-
Anyone who grind at boarderlands knows that was an alpha stage built to destiny. Tahaha
-
Most ppl are jaded by the state of the game. Even the PD guys went on a couple 20 minute rants. They obviously aren't speaking for literally everyone, but most of the serious players
-
There was once a user who spoke for all of #destiny His name was Ben obiwan
-
You're looking at this all wrong. Granted, I'm not always entirely on the side of Youtubers/Streamers because I do feel like developers and companies cater to those people a good portion of the time, but the points being made in his video or any ones honest opinion is what's need to be heard by Bungie. There have been some known personalities that have straight out said that they're worried about not making any income because of the lack of Destiny content. That is where I draw the line, to those people, I say go -blam!- yourselves. I've stopped following people who receive thank you gifts from Bungie and Activision praising them, yet never having any contribution on feedback of the game which to me says unacceptable. No, they don't speak for the community but of course their channels and content are an easier way to get gain attention to a topic of conversation. There are a few Destiny players that are making valid points but we as a community need to see eye to eye on the bigger picture within the game itself.
-
Game is dead anyway.
-
This guy is the dumbest person ever. Want to cringe at how idiotic he is? Go watch his dames of destiny video. Where he compares girls playing video games to bowlers. I felt bad for how dumb he is. But then I just laughed at how dumb he is.
-
They ride bungie by making a under table deal with bungie for early content showings in exchange to help overhype a dlc then when it doesn't suit them they run off to something else come march they will leave to the division and good god i hope they don't they are two faced and don't deserve any pity either as far as i'm concerned they are part of why this game is the way it is as much as bungie is.
-
Are they acting a bit entitled? Maybe. But it does seem like most people are complaining. And honestly, some better communication would be great for the community, it might ease the toxicity. You may think the game is fine, but if these changes are made, would they hurt the game or lead to something better?
-
Well you & your friends may feel that way & if so the video has nothing to do with you. Some of us actually aren't happy when we find out we've been lied to. Some of us aren't happy with how this game's been going for the past few months. Some of us actually want things to be fixed. & guess what
There are of us that want change than of you that think everything is fine

That puts you in the minority

Meaning he does speak for the majority of players
-
Edited by C-Sentinel: 1/29/2016 4:21:16 AMHe took everything he made in the video off of twitter suggestions. Should he come and ask EVERY person who plays Destiny for their opinion? These people have tens to hundreds of thousands of subscribers for a reason. Even if the majority of the community doesn't know who they are (which isn't true) a decent chunk of people know who they are, and serve as a sample for the larger community for them to base their response on. I don't know what kinda rock you live under, but wherever you go to for Destiny, being the forums, reddit, youtube or twitch, the problems he stated are agreed on universally. If not for you, then consider yourself apart of the 1%. Get off Bungie's dick.
