Good point. But Op is offering up what could be a good discussion . One that has some merrit if not exactly about byf and this exact vid. So ,I get your point but how do you feel about some of these youtuners?

I think YouTube personalities could be beneficial to the Destiny community but currently they take a lit of risk saying anything negative about the game. If there is anything communicated to bungie it's probably not in the public eye for the most part as this would possibly damage their relationship and future considerations for events. Let's be honest, they make money though/because of Destiny so I don't see them bashing it too much. They have the voice and platform to communicate with bungie though, so there could be a benifit to having that. I doubt any of them would take up that mantle though due to the community at large. There isn't a lot to gain or win for most of them.

I lean towards them having a platform that they attempt to use. Before the Taken King came out bungie flew in a group of US youtubers and another group from Europe. If they had any social skills at all, they would have used the week to solidify some connections within the development team. So I agree they are probably communicating behind the scenes. They do make a living through youtube and Destiny - so to speak up against the hand that feeds you would require something major happening. They could feasibly ride this wave for 10 years if the bungie plan lives it intended life cycle. Still I would like to see someone take up the mantle of unbiased community voice. A dialog straight to bungie from the replies to the videos they post. It would be nice to see someone with connections to the developers be a true voice. Not that persons opinion, rather a collection or report on the actual feedback left on the youtube page . Probably wishful thinking but it would be nice. Deej is there , but he is employed by the company so he has his job to protect. Take care
