Where's the BEST place to farm spin metal?? (CLOSED)
Currently working on exotic sword. I've heard rocketyard is a good location, but haven't had much success.
Edit: Finished! I got bolt caster!

Earth and farm the chest down in the area called the rocket yard. The chest gives you 2 spin metals and all chest spawn in a circle just run it and a few chest spawn in the center the video is on youtube

Get a ghost that tells you where spin metal is and run around the divide and rocket yard

When i was farming for sword, i kept spaaning into earth until i could find a spinmetal patch in the steppes close to the mothyards, pick it up a jump on sparrow and fly to mothyards. Hopefully get lucky and one will be right where you enter mothyards. Pick it up and fly back to steppes... i got lucky and was able to bounce back and fourth between the 2 for about 20 min and got all i needed.

The divide or rocketyard is just fine hopefully you have a ghost that marks spinmetal. Pro tip after picking up 3 or 4 in the area aim with a sniper and after the icon above the last spinmetal dissapears you will see 3 or 4 new ones respawn.

The divide and rocket yard. They are close to each other and you can farm one while the other regenerates.

Get a ghost that gives spin metal on engrams then run earth patrols and look for other spots

It is the rocketyard, stay on the outside of the area and you should find a bunch of rooms with chests in them. Just circle around the rocketyard staying on the outside and going into thr rooms and also look towards the inside of the circle once in a while to find a spinmetal plant.

1 ReplyJust equip a ghost that detects and marks spinmetal.... Itll literally point you to every material in an area if you aim down your sights on a sniper. Did this for 2/3 of my exotic Swords..... Saved so much time. Heed my words Guardian....
