Where's the BEST place to farm spin metal?? (CLOSED)
Currently working on exotic sword. I've heard rocketyard is a good location, but haven't had much success.
Edit: Finished! I got bolt caster!

I did mine in the steppes, it wasn't bad I just ran around in a circle. Super fun.

1 ReplyI did a loop in the spawn area then in the mossyards, back to the first area. Rinse and repeat. Took less than a hour. Happy hunting.

What I did on the moon was titan skate mida around the entire planet with my helium filaments ghost in hand. Might work here as well.

2 RepliesThere is a farm that still works, in the cosmodrome, where you can force a chest to spawn, and then go back an forth just opening the chest over and over... YouTube unlimited spin metal farm...

2 RepliesHeads up. It sucks ass. When you spawn in, stay in that area and the moth yards. (The place with airplanes) Get a ghost with spin metal detector on it and a sniper. When you look through the sniper scope it will show you the spin metal anywhere on the map regardless of distance. Really expedites the process. Also you can only get it from the spin metal leaves, not chests. Probably knew that though. Second also, the map will only load so many items. As you start collecting spin metal leaves they will be replaced by chests or more leaves. So if it only loads ten items, and there are ten chests, you won't find spin metal until you pick up a chest. Good luck! Bolt caster kicks major ass!

Take it from the dude that's still running the exact same farming routes that I've been running since vanilla. I haven't spent even a single mark on materials, any farming questions you have I'm your guy.

1 ReplyDid mine in rocket yard...seemed to be about 15-20 nodes hit per drop...really sucked Granted...rocket yard also pops taken every 10-15 mins, so not bad for 3oC either Reminds me of the old days...sigh
