Where's the BEST place to farm spin metal?? (CLOSED)
Currently working on exotic sword. I've heard rocketyard is a good location, but haven't had much success.

2 RepliesDo the location glitch, go to any area and find 1 spin metal near the border to the area, grab it, sparrow to the next area until you see the new location flash up at the bottom, turn round n go back, it'll still b there. DONT kill any enemies as the game remembers your last action but doesn't remember your material collection, you can even find 2 close together sometimes, or 1 nr each border, half's your time, The 2 best places I found where rocket yard > divide, or skywatch then sparrow thru the building where you end the wizard mission story 3, n then back. If you go to rocket yard from divide, there's often 1 nr the servitor, or turn left n there's 1 or 2 nr the pipe whee u spawn for the devil's lair strike, It messes up if other players join the area so do it in quiet areas. If players are near and stay, just orbit n return. FWIW , took me 155 spin metal picks to get the 10 material, 153 relic iron for the void one, and 162 helium to get the solar ones. Good luck

Get a ghost from the speaker that has spinmetal Finder on it and start at The Steppes. You have to wait a minute or so for all the nodes to spawn. Harvest the area and move to the moth yards. Then Forgotten shore the go through the grottos to the rocket yards and then the divide. After go back to the steppes and rinse and repeat. It's a long boring process. But you'll get one of those things per cycle. And you'll have a shit ton of spin metal that you can trade in for rep to whoever takes it.

In the cosmodrone, use your ghosts that detects it, if you have one, also equip a Sniper rifle and aim down your sites, spinmetel will be high lighted. .and after doing one area go to another, then come back. ..rinse and repeat

Go back and forth through the starting area of of cosmodrome and the mothyards. Took me an hour to get all materials but you have to keep going back and forth

Rocketyard is the best for overall farming. Idk for chest farming but it is where i did mine. Didnt take too long.

Ah he doesn't know how to farm. Go to the rocket yard then run about 5 or 6 lap. Looking in all of the rooms. If you need further help idk google it.

3 RepliesWhatever you do, get a ghost showing spinmetal, and a sniper. While ADS with sniper, you'll see nodes on screen. Use that to quickly scan.
