Currently working on exotic sword. I've heard rocketyard is a good location, but haven't had much success.
Edit: Finished! I got bolt caster!

Edited by The Bad Pun Guy: 1/30/2016 5:09:30 PMGo to the sky watch. It's where the middle last part of the omnigul strike is. Go to forgotten shores, and got to omnigul strike start place. Continue through as normal as omnigul strike would. Once it says skywatch, stick there. That's where I got mine. Plenty of Material.

Having an IB ghost with that detection stat is really helpful. Also if you find a node close to a zone change, collect material, change zone, go back, collect material again, repeat. This works as long as nobody else hits the node.

Pickup 7 in one area, move to the next. Keep going in a circle until done.
-
Just buy it from the vendor.

Keep switching between mothyards, the place you spawn and skywatch. if you have That ghost tracking spinmetal Just aim with a sniper to see the ones farther away

Edited by ExelArts: 1/30/2016 4:34:33 PMRocketyard get a ghost that sniffs out spin metal you'll have to buy either a legendary from the venders or buy a rare one from the speaker but be aware that they won't always sell the ghost you need I suggest picking up one that sniffs out iron relic and helium fragments for the other 2 swords

Edited by crowdedchaff: 1/30/2016 4:10:48 PMIn the spawn area of earth. Drive around and then come back. All the spin metal will have spawned. -use a spin metal locator (ghost) -SCOPE IN WITH A SNIPER to see all the spin metal locations. (It works) -go collect -go to the next area and do the same thing

Edited by StinkySphynxStir: 1/30/2016 4:05:28 PMAlso... If you are still working on the ability kills, use the sword. AVOID HEAVY AMMO while doing this. Equip your legendary sword and pull guard with it until you are only holding the hilt. Run around bashing heads with the hilt. Unless Bungie patched it after I did all three of mine this way, hilt kills count towards ability kills. It's been quite a while since I did these, but I would assume you should also have the matching subclass rolling for this. Solar Sword, Solar subclass... Arc Sword, Arc subclass... Void Sword, Void subclass.
