Where's the BEST place to farm spin metal?? (CLOSED)
Currently working on exotic sword. I've heard rocketyard is a good location, but haven't had much success.
Edit: Finished! I got bolt caster!

It will show you every spinmetal branch in the area. Go pick them up move to the next area Repeat (If you spawn into a fresh server of an area it takes a couple mins for any to spawn)

cosmodrome first area... i got more than 50 in less than 1 hour

5 mins from area to area that way your starting position is reset when you get to it.

Equip a ghost shell that will spot spinmetal. Equip a sniper rifle and zoom in. All spinmetal in the area will be shown to you. Every minute or so zoom in again to see where it respawned at.

I stayed in the first area. Had a ghost shell that showed where it was and used my 1TYS and just rode over to them. Farmed about 90/100 spin metal before I got them all

Best place to farm is at the tower for sure. Go to that cute robot lady near the redneck and you can farm 20 spinmetal for 10 legendary marks each

I just ran in circles in the spawn area and mothyards. Kept juggling back and forth between them.

2 RepliesRocket yards was the best until the taken started spawning there every 5 minutes. I've had good luck in the mothyards. Two tips. 1)equip a ghost with the spinmetal sensor perk. Shaxx usually has one for sale. 2)equip a sniper. When you aim down scope it will show far away node locations. Sparrow to them and profit.

Here's a cool trick that works, if you have a sniper rifle look around everywhere through the scope and it should show deposits of that item. IMPORATANT: make sure you have a ghost that says it tracks that material.
